A structured English programme combined with supervised work experience in a local Irish business, designed for older teenagers preparing for future study or careers.
The Junior Activity Programme is a 2–4 week course combining structured English learning with a full programme of supervised activities. Students develop confidence and communication skills through lessons, outdoor adventures, creative projects and shared experiences.
Each week is carefully planned to balance learning, fun and wellbeing, with full supervision and support throughout the day.
Students are placed in carefully selected local businesses, where they gain first-hand experience of everyday working life in Ireland. Placements are chosen to be safe, appropriate, and supportive, and students are supervised throughout their programme.
Alongside their placement, students develop key skills needed in professional environments, including: communication and teamwork, confidence speaking English with colleagues and customers, supporting both language development and personal growth.
Twice a week, students enjoy a structured and supervised evening programme, allowing time to relax, socialise, and reflect on their experience while continuing to use English in an informal setting.
Students take part in organised excursions that allow them to explore the local area, experience Irish culture, and spend time with fellow students in a relaxed environment.
Clear routines, supportive supervision and a balance of learning, activities and downtime help students feel settled, confident and at home from day one.

Work Experience at a local business (2 PM – 5 PM)
Time with host families and local life.
Full day excursions on Saturdays and relaxed time with hosts on Sundays.
Classes begin at 9am on the first Monday of the course and end on the final Friday.
