Every student lives with a carefully chosen local family in Cahersiveen or a nearby village. Some live on working farms.
A maximum of 15 per class and students from across Europe, so English is the language everyone shares.
Summer 2027 programmes
Two to four weeks, June to August. Full board, airport transfers and every activity included.
Morning English, then kayaking, hiking, film-making, cooking and full-day Saturday excursions.
Morning English plus real afternoon placements in local cafés, restaurants and businesses.
Five days to two weeks of English and exploring, any time outside the summer. Tailor-made for your group.
A week at Asana

Sending your child abroad is a big step. Here is how we look after them every day of their stay.
How we care for studentsEvery family is carefully selected and vetted, in Cahersiveen town or a nearby village.
Staff are with students for lessons, activities, evening events and excursions.
Free transfers from Cork and Kerry airports at weekends, straight to the host family.
Free evenings only with host-family permission, and a firm curfew for every junior.
Meet the family
Adi and Colm started Asana in 1993 and made Cahersiveen their home in 1999. Today their four sons run the school alongside them, together with teachers, local artists, musicians and storytellers.
We keep Asana small on purpose, so every student is known by name.
